![]() The AI Renaissance portrait generator isnt great at painting people of color. The brightness is measured horizontally throughout the image and once you see the relationship between the graph and your image it can be very helpful in determining any corrections you wish to make. Instead of style transfer, AI Portrait Ars uses a machine learning system. The brighter, the higher up on the graph with black at the very bottom and white at the very top. Actually, that setting only affects the way the OS digital color meter reads the Resolve viewer. This scope is showing the levels brightness within your image. Deselecting the default 'Use Mac Display Color Profile For Viewers' in: Preferences - Hardware Configuration, makes the RGB values match the OSX Digital Color Meter in Display Native Values. In my edit, the black square is where I chose my black point and the white square is my white point. Resolve will then adjust the color wheel accordingly. It can be a little daunting when you first open any color correction scopes but they are actually fairly simple. Select what point you want to adjust and then move the cursor to your footage and click on the point that should be pure black or white, depending on what picker you are using. Doesn’t get much better than that. It began as a pure colour tool and has added elements of other NLE’s as time has gone on, unlike most other programs that have done the reverse. One of the most powerful and best priced tools for basic and advanced colour correction is Blackmagic’s DaVinci Resolve.ĭaVinci Resolve has been one of the industry standards for colour correction for some time now. Colour correction was always considered to be a specialist domain until recent years when it not only became accessible to all users with an NLE but essential for working with modern digital cameras.
